One of the charity’s initiatives is Tyler Herro’s own cereal brand called HerrO’s Fruit Hoops. This was the basketball player’s dream and now he’s using a portion of its proceeds to fund the charity. Their funds go directly to charities such as Feeding South Florida, Covid-19 relief efforts and much more. They never fail to meet the expectations of their donors and they are continuing to do so.
The Tyler Herro Foundation is a charity foundation founded by the NBA player, Tyler Herro, in 2019. The charity strives to support and inspire youth. They do everything to live up to their motto “cultivating the herro’s of tomorrow.”
Their initiatives are comprised of projects that engage children physically, develop wellness, and improve creativity, all to improve the lives of the generations of tomorrow.
Before he was an owner of a charity, he was and still is an athlete. Tyler Herro played college basketball in Kentucky then he was drafted 13th overall as a member of the Miami Heat. He made the finals as a rookie.
Since it was founded, the Tyler Herro Foundation has reached out its hands to people in need. They always reach out to assist in disasters and have always centered their efforts in lighting a fire in the new generation’s hearts and building a better tomorrow.
With PLB Sports and Entertainment’s partnership with the foundation, they were able to produce the cereal. PLBSE was responsible for creating brand lines for athletes and entertainers as well. PLBSE is also responsible for starting multiple charities in association with other athletes such as the Team Hope foundation, Western New York Women’s Foundation, Remain to Reach, and many more.
One of Herro’s latest initiatives is a feeding program for families in need during thanksgiving. This was held out in association with the Feeding South Florida program. After the program, the Feeding South Florida Facebook page dubbed him as the “Hunger Herro.” They have fed 150 families in total with Thanksgiving Turkies, Produce and Sides.
The T.Herro Foundation has also reached out to help Covid-19 relief efforts. They gave the people a chance to win a signed jersey by Tyler in return for a donation. All funds raised are directly sent to the Center for Disease Philanthropy.
T.Herro Foundation has also held signing events with a $20 per signature. All the funds went directly to the charity.
Aside from its numerous charity initiatives, T.Herro has also held basketball camps for kids to help enhance their skills. They have always stayed true to their motto, inspiring and improving the lives of the herro’s of tomorrow.
Up until now, the Tyler Herro Foundation continuously serves the people and the country to build a better tomorrow.
