Vintage music have been making a comeback lately, whether they are for use or display, the masses crave for them. One such line of items are music-related ones such as music cassettes, and vinyl. Music cassettes have been experiencing a resurgence in popularity as of late and has astounded many enthusiasts.

Music cassettes are either sold separately or in box sets. Each cassette holds an album or two songs, which means purchasing box sets would give one access to more music. Vinyl were also sold in box sets. Some songs and the design prints of the vinyl were only available when purchased in box sets. People often forget about CDs being vintage items as well since this is one of the later media. CDs also came in box sets, typically for movies and music.

Box sets are useful when, for example, you want to buy numerous albums of this single artist, but you couldn’t find all the individual cassette tapes for each album. The best course of action would be to buy the whole music box set itself.

Some box sets were sold to commemorate events such as anniversaries and seasonal events. These were even more limited in number since they were only produced during that specific event which helped add value to the product.

The Beatles also released their own box set which is called The Beatles 16 x CD 1988 Aussie Box Set with Booklet. The set came in a container that looks like it’s made out of wood and it perfectly captures the vintage feel. The Beatles also sold other box sets such as The Beatles Collection – 14 x Vinyl LP Record Gold Box Set which is exclusive to Australia and contained their replica signatures on the front box. These were limited to 4000 copies and came with a small numbered yellow certificate but were reported to be withdrawn early, as the gold foil on the box was too fragile.

Some box sets are sold along with other memorabilia which added value to it. Things like songbooks and photos were sold along these to thank the fans for buying the set. Some of them were also signed which give significant value to the product. Some vintage music box sets don’t belong to one specific artist but are compilations of music from a certain era.
